The lake is a reservoir of spring water as well as infiltrations from the adjacent river Loire, spanning 6 ha in a lust green setting with canal ways and marshland. The water depth varies between 1 and 5 meters ideal fishing for life-bait fishing as well as providing carp fishing for 1 to 2 carp-anglers.

The fish stock consists of large carp, pike, perch, black bass.

There are small waterways providing fly-fishing and an expert fishing instructor is available by prior booking.
